2026 Scholarship Application High School Senior

The Award

Stewart’s Federal Credit Union will award THREE SCHOLARSHIPS one $2000 and two (2) $750 Scholarships to be paid to the member to be used toward their education.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a graduating high school senior who will be attending a two- or four-year accredited college or trade school.

The applicant must be a member in good standing of Stewart’s Federal Credit Union. If you are not already a member, contact the credit union to find out what is necessary to become a member!

Application Process

Eligible members must complete this scholarship application. The signed application must be submitted together with:

  • An official high school transcript

  • Optional – An SAT/PSAT/ACT transcript (obtained through the HS guidance office)

  • Two official letters of reference from a teacher, guidance counselor, leader or coach

  • Essay (details listed below)

Essay Information

Please use a separate sheet of paper to respond to one of the following questions. Your response should be 300 to 500 words. Please type your responses. Points will be deducted if responses are not typed.

Questions (Please choose one):

  • Describe the moment you realized what you wanted to study. What experiences led to this realization, and how has it shaped your academic goals and future aspirations?

  • If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?  How do their achievements or struggles resonate with you?

  • What are your educational and career goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Selection Process

Judging will be based on both subjective and objective criteria. These include academic performance, information contained in the references, and quality of the essay.
