Member Service Representative
We are looking to add a member service representative to our team at Stewart’s Federal Credit Union.
The member service representative will provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service experience to our members. This position provides an opportunity for growth.
Pay range: $20-$24/hour.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a high level of customer service while being able to multitask in a fast-paced, open working environment
- Loan underwriting experience is a plus, but not required
- Creative thinking for business growth in the marketing field
- Team-oriented, multitasking, keen attention to detail, self-motivated, high level of organization and time management, and professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the public
- Ability to handle confidential information as well as follow all regulatory guidelines for the banking industry
- Adjust to the rapid pace and complexity of the banking industry
- Experience in the banking or financial service industry preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the highest level of customer service, accurately and efficiently processing member transactions
- Underwrite, process, and close consumer and home equity loans
- Run daily and monthly transaction postings and GL postings
- Maintain current knowledge of all credit union products and services and advise members on those that best meet their needs
- Perform morning and end-of-day processing
- Debit card maintenance
- Develop a marketing portfolio to grow membership and loans
- Cross train in all areas of the office to support the staff

The schedule consists of daytime hours, Monday-Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
